The Town Square is a central place within the master plan that provides for long term commercial development in a pattern that is sustainable and desirable for residents, locals and visitors.
The preferred architectural planning for this zone is denser allowing for a mix of uses including housing. This will contribute to the vitality of a permanent town fabric. The streetscape is intentionally urban, providing merchants and visitors with a unique landscaped setting.
Thirty-six shops and three restaurants will be nestled under the arcaded buildings. Visitors may stroll through the arcade, protected from the sun or rain, as they shop at such stores as an art gallery, women's clothing boutiques, a fashion jewelry store, a bakery/deli and more.
Above the shops will be condos presented in a number of different designs and configurations. Below are some of these configurations. Prices for one-bedroom or studio condos begin at $200,000.
Type 1
The three plan alternatives for Type 1 have spacious bathrooms, each with a whirlpool soaking tub and separate glass enclosed shower stall. A generous covered veranda space is common to all three plan alternatives of Type 1. This outdoor room is large enough to accommodate a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and can be used as a sleeping porch.
Type 2
Type 2 also has three alternatives. The floor plan places the outdoor veranda at the outside corners of the building. The various building blocks that define the Town Square are contiguously connected by an arcade at ground level. The space above the arcade provides residents with an outdoor terrace and access to their units.
Type 3
The floor plan configurations of Type 3 allocate a two bedroom unit on the upper floor of a single retail building. The bedrooms are organized around a central living space. Each bedroom has a private bath with soaking tub and separate glass enclosed shower. All three alternatives provide guest access to one of the bathrooms from the public space without having to go through a bedroom.
